Translucent Natural Stone: Backlit Design Surfaces with Slate-Lite Translucent

First, define the size, shape and installation depth of the planned illuminated surface. Translucent is suitable for individual, flexible or curved surfaces and is applied to a light-transmitting substrate. Stoneboards already have a rigid structure, require no additional substrate and are particularly suitable for larger surfaces. Lightboards are the ready-to-use complete solution with integrated lighting.

For backlighting, our LED SHEETS are the easiest and most efficient solution. They can be cut to size, mounted using their self-adhesive backing and provide even illumination with minimal installation depth. Alternatively, Translucent can also be backlit using almost any other suitable light source.

Translucent and Stoneboards can be cut to size using standard woodworking tools such as a circular saw, handheld circular saw or multi-tool. Alternatively, many products can be ordered directly from our online shop in your required dimensions. We recommend carrying out a short lighting test before installation, as the decor, light colour and brightness determine the final appearance of the natural stone.
